Welcome to Blue Moon Walking Horses, LLC! We are a small Tennessee Walking Horse farm located in North-central Wisconsin. Here at the farm we are dedicated to producing quality Walking Horses that exhibit the great, loving dispositions, willing attitudes, and of course, the smooth "glide ride" that this wonderful breed is known for, plus a little extra!
We specialize in horses that are smaller in stature, ranging from 14.2 to 15.2 hands, have pretty, refined features, such as small heads, short hooked ears, short backs, and good even muscling. With the way these horses are put together, they have proven themselves to be extremely versatile, mastering techniques that are seen in dressage, reining, and competitive trail. They can do just as well as the breeds that usually dominate these sports. Plus, you get a smooth ride to boot! These horses are versatile enough for someone looking for their next quite trail horse or even their next top notch show horse, in any discipline! On top of all this, we also add a splash of color, specializing in paints and buckskins.
We stand several lovely stallions that we breed to our carefully handpicked mares. We offer services in breeding, sales, and consultations. By standing behind our product, we have had very happy and returning customers.

Ferrari is the daughter of our stallion, Rawhide, and is out of an Ebony Masterpiece mare. She is as beautifully conformed as her sire and has inherited a great sense of humor from her dam. She is very symmetrically marked and her gait is as smooth as glass! Ferrari is very sweet and loves to go out and have loads of fun!

Farah is our palomino overo mare that is by Sadie's Dream Weaver out of Ebony's Dusty Lass. Farah is a granddaughter of World Grand Champion, Ebony Masterpiece! This color and pedigree combination are very rare! This lovely mare not only sports an impressive pedigree, but she also has the conformation, loving dispostion, and gait, with color to boot! Farah will be bred to one of our lovely stallions in Spring of 2010.

Shasta's Color Genetics: ee AA CrCr
Shasta is by the Buck Starts Here. She has been color genetically tested and is a homozygous for the red, agouti, and cream gene. This makes her a color goldmine, but the rest of Shasta's attributes are just as awesome!
Shasta possesses great conformation, a sweet dispostion, impressive pedigree, and her gait is flawless! We will be using Shasta a riding and perspective show horse as well as a broodmare. SiouxTala's gait is about as perfect as they come and her color is very eye catching. SiouxTala is the daughter of our stallion, Walker, and our mare, Shadow. She also traces her ancestry back to Sandy Sun's Sally through both her sire and dam making her a double foundation bred tobiano walking horse! SiouxTala's name means "Ancient Rythmic Indian Dance"! We are very pleased with having SiouxTala here to add some eye pleasing color, personality, and entertainment to our program!

Blue Moon Walking Horses, LLC is owned and operated by Atisha Zentner and Pete Peterson of Rib Lake, WI. This small Tennessee Walking Horse farm is located in the Northcentral section of the state. Here dedication to quality and customer satisfaction are held in high regard. We strive to produce horses with exceptional temperments, conformation, pedigree, and most importantly, gait quality and versitility. Color is just an added bonus! You will find only "natural" gaited horses here, no shoes, no pads, no action devices of any kind. This is the Walking Horse how it was born to be!
We currently are standing a buckskin, and black tobiano stallion and are crossing them to our colorful and well-bred mares; black, bay, and sorrel tobianos, a cremello, palomino, and palomino overo.
